My Story

I am Japanese and origami was very familiar to me. My mother taught me origami when I was around 3years old. At nursery school and kindergarten, I was taught by teachers and made various things with Origami or cutting newspapers and flyers. When I was in elementary school, I went to paper flower class. I knew about 3D origami for the first time when my mother attended a 3D origami class. 3D origami folds parts and combines them like Lego to create a three-dimensional object. I want to spread origami in the United States. Children can play with their imaginations if they have a paper, and the work of folding 3D origami parts using fingertips and is used in nursing homes in Japan as it prevents dementia. I think that origami is liked by all ages, from children to adults.

I started my business in 2018 in California.  I moved to Texas in 2021. In 2022, I opened my booth at 24 events. I will continue to open my booth at various events. I'm looking forward to seeing people in events! In the future, I would like to hold an origami class for children and an origami class at a nursing home.

I am making original folding's way most of them except traditional objects like crane or cubic. My jewelry is handmade and water-resistant. They are coated with craft resin. Preserving the origami beautiful colors of the origami paper is a trade secret. Also, for people with metal allergies, I use stainless steel, surgical stainless steel and brass that nickel free.

Our work is our purpose, our driving force. It's the reason we get up every day and do what we do. Most importantly, it keeps pushing us to achieve bigger and better things with each new challenge.
